Workplace replaces the traditional single-screen “fat client” compiled user interface. This innovative approach supports various views through portals and frames, offering versatility and customization. Portals within Workplace can be tailored to specific departments, roles or individuals, supporting a role-based user experience. Each portal can encompass multiple frames, and these frames can be interconnected contextually through publish/subscribe links to enhance usability and workflow efficiency. This means that you can view an order or item on one screen, and other related screens will automatically update to view related information for the item or order being viewed on the primary screen.
