Case Study:Recently ICG was engaged with a mid-sized manufacturing company that wanted to migrate VISUAL ERP to the Cloud. The customer indicated they were looking at Amazon Web Services and Azure to host VISUAL ERP and its supporting systems. This company has a single IT Manager who does EVERYTHING for them and tends to be quite busy, and the CFO's goal was to reduce the IT manager's load and allow him to focus on critical business projects. During the conversation, we discussed which of ICG's cloud solutions would put the business on a better path in delivering their systems' stability, mobility, and performance. During the conversation, the CFO and IT Manager mentioned how simple Azure and AWS were, as there would be almost no maintenance, and how much better the IT Manager's life would be.
